What is Contract Laminating?
The laminating process utilizez industrial machines that are specifically designed to handle and process wide web, flexible substrates in a roll to roll format. Laminating takes two or more substrates and marries them together with an adhesive coating step, producing a composite material. Contract laminating is the same laminating process where you are producing a composite construction, but contract laminating utilizes the customer’s materials. The adhesive system used to marry two or more substrates can be provided by the customer or by the contract laminating company.
