DUNMORE Information on COVID-19
June 24, 2020
The current COVID-19 pandemic is a trying time for all citizens, employees, and organizations around the world. Dunmore extends our thoughts and appreciation to companies and individuals at the front line fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. As a critical supplier under CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency), Dunmore is committed to supporting direct and indirect healthcare, food packaging and labeling, plastics manufacturing, aerospace and defense industries.
Dunmore continues to follow the government safety guidance as it pertains to each site and will make the necessary adjustments based on new recommendations and changes. The following information highlights the status of our current operations, the functionality of our supply chain, and the proactive measures Dunmore has in place.
As of today, our three sites located in Pennsylvania, New York, and Freiburg, Germany are open and fully operational. Recent announcements have limited and restricted many business operations based on their function. Since all three sites produce critical components for medical, aerospace, and defense products our facilities are considered essential businesses. Manufacturing at all three sites are running on their normal schedules.
Supply Chain Status
Dunmore’s purchasing team has been in constant contact with our suppliers since the beginning of the crisis. At this time, we are not experiencing any issues or shipment delays in chemical or raw material supplies. Dunmore will continue to be diligent to ensure our customers receive their needed products on time and in full.
Protecting Our Employees
Safety of our employees has always been our number one priority. Since the beginning, Dunmore has been following CDC guidelines and best practices to minimize the spread of the virus. Key actions to date include expanded work from home policy, ban on travel, social distancing, and more stringent cleaning in high traffic and manufacturing areas. Dunmore is following all local and state requirements for the use of face masks by our associates and any contractors at our facilities in NY and PA.You should have no issue reaching your Dunmore contact, even if he or she is not physically at one of our facilities.
