DUN-SOLAR FPE backsheets have a high performance two layer construction with a fluorinated finish layer applied to a polyester core and PE laminated structure, combining the durability of a fluorinated finish and a PET film laminate for superb physical, optical and electrical properties.
DUN-SOLAR FPE backsheets protect PV modules from UV, moisture and weather while insulating the electrical load of the modules, which can operate up to 1000 VDC. DUN-SOLAR FPE Construction
DUN-SOLAR FPE is a two-layered film lamination with a fluorinated film finish designed to be used as the backsheet for photovoltaic solar panels. It acts as a durable protective barrier for the electronic components found in solar panels. 
Construction includes:
- Outer Layer - Fluorinated film layer
- Core - Polyester (PET) core
- Inner Layer - Adhesion-promoting PE film
- Adhesives to join the core and inner-layer
This construction is specifically engineered for use in photovoltaic backsheet applications requiring superb physical, optical and electrical properties.
