Digital Topcoats

HP Indigo

DUNMORE digital print-receptive products contain a proprietary DUN-DIGITAL™ Indigo coating designed to meet the needs of the HP Indigo® Press. DUNMORE's coating has been Three Star Certified by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), the highest certification rating for Indigo printing. The coating is transparent and is available on several base films including clear and white polyester film, white rigid vinyl, clear and white oriented-polypropylene film, and several polycarbonate base films. It is non-blocking with outstanding ink adhesion, rapid dry time and provides excellent print quality.

Sheet-Fed Indigo

DUN-DIGITAL™ coated synthetics for sheet-fed Indigo printing (such as on the S2000, 3050, 5000, etc) are available exclusively through the Transilwrap Company. Transilwrap carries an extensive line of the most commonly used synthetics in standard 12" x 18" format, boxed and ready to ship. These are usually thicker films materials, 3 mil and up. Certain items have a paper tipsheet on the back to aid feeding. Both 1- and 2-sides coated sheets are available. Please follow the link on this page to Transilwrap's customer service department. Roll-Fed Indigo

DUN-DIGITAL™ coated synthetics for roll-fed Indigo printing (such as on the ws4050, etc.) are available on a wide range of thin film (typically 1 and 2 mil) substrates. Our film offering includes PETs, OPPs, Vinyls and other films. These materials are typically coated at wide-web (50-61") for the pressure-sensitive coating (labels) industry, but are also available in smaller slit roll sizes for use in a narrow-web press or print environment. Materials for the roll-fed Indigo market are sold directly by DUNMORE. Please contact your sales rep or DUNMORE customer service for more information. View our extensive product line.

Toll Coating

Is applying an Indigo coating to your film substrate on-press taking up valuable press time? Inconsistent? Wasteful? If so, DUNMORE can toll-coat it for you efficiently and cost effectively with very high lot-to-lot coating consistency. We can handle substrates from 0.5 to 23 mils. Please contact your DUNMORE sales representative to discuss your requirements in detail.
